How we protect your information
This page is maintained by Road Ready Rentals ATL to answer common security and privacy questions about our rental application and customer portal. It describes our current practices and is not an independent certification.
Authentication & access
- Customer portal and admin tools require sign-in with email & password or Google.
- Staff access is scoped by role — only admins manage company-wide records; vehicle managers see only the vehicles assigned to them.
- Role checks are enforced on the server, not in the browser.
Data we collect
- Rental applications: name, contact info, date of birth, address, driver's license details and photo.
- Rental agreements: signature, signing IP and timestamp, emergency contact.
- Payments & inspections: amounts, due dates, vehicle condition photos.
- We collect only what we need to qualify renters and operate rentals.
Storage & transport
- All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
- Application data and uploaded documents are stored in our managed cloud backend with row-level access rules.
- Driver's license images and vehicle photos live in private storage buckets — they are not publicly listable.
Who can see what
- Application PII (email, DOB, address, license) is readable only by admins and assigned managers — never by anonymous visitors.
- The public vehicle catalog hides sensitive fields like VIN, license plate, and GPS device IDs.
- Rental agreements are accessible to the renter via a signing link and to the staff assigned to the vehicle.
Subprocessors
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase): database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe: payment processing (sandbox in development).
- OneStepGPS: vehicle telematics for fleet management.
- Resend / email provider: transactional emails (application confirmations, agreement links).
Your choices & contact
- To request a copy or deletion of your data, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
- Transactional emails (confirmations, agreements) include an unsubscribe link where applicable.
